Beautiful Bronze lighting

Bronze finishes in lighting have been making a steady come back.  I have been involved in a number of projects over the last few years where the main exterior building material has been that lovely warm honey coloured Cotswold type stone which bronze casements are particularly suited to.  This makes bronze a key finish for other metal fittings, such as ironmongery, balustrading and curtain poles.  Using the very commonly available satin stainless steel as a material for architectural or decorative lighting would have meant a finish and tonal clash – bronze is a rich, warm tone whereas stainless steel is a cool tone.  I’ve built up a small number of architectural lighting suppliers over the last 15 years or so who can manufacture in a wide variety of finishes so I don’t have to worry about clashes.  Here are some of my favourite bronze finish products – architectural and decorative:
