Marine lighting can look great in the home
Marine lighting has been available for many decades to light boats and yachts and those lights slowly migrated on to land and on to our homes via many manufacturers’ catalogues. Depending on the exact style and finish they can work on modern properties just as well as on period ones. They can be extremely useful on homes in sea-side locations where up to 5 miles in land many manufacturers’ warranties are invalidated by them being used in such a harsh environment. However, care needs to be taken when specifying them within this 5 mile zone as many products look suitable but aren’t actually built to marine standards.
