This Berkshire family home had been outgrown by its owners who were reluctant to leave the neighbourhood that they loved. Consequently, they decided to extend their home by adding extra rooms to the ground floor, digging out a large basement and turning the generous loft space into a second floor whilst still retaining the original character of the house.
Our brief was to co-ordinate the architectural lighting design, specification and supply with the highly experienced design team at M & Y Interiors. M & Y specified and supplied the decorative lighting as standard within their whole house design service.
We also advised our clients on having a part house Rako lighting control system to provide the convenience of scene setting in their more important rooms and the added security features of timed exterior lighting controls and “holiday mode” to make the house look occupied whilst they are away.
