Bull in the Oak is a unique development of three new build traditional styled wooden and tiled barns and two modern metal roofed Dutch barn style homes. They are situated in beautiful rolling countryside on the edge of the hamlet of the same name, close to the picturesque and historic town of Market Bosworth.
This luxury development was built by respected local developer Cadeby Homes. Based on traditional values, yet with innovative ideas, Cadeby Homes is a family run business, established over 30 years ago that has grown by creating small, individual developments, and family homes with character and style.
The homes in this incredibly successful development was a step up in scale for Cadeby. They hired Lemon and Lime Interiors of Melbourne to help them show purchasers how to make family homes within the barns and particularly within the expansive open plan living spaces of the Dutch barns. Our good friends, Elaine Penhaul and Kate Foster at Lemon and Lime recognized that for homeowners to get the most from these properties, especially the open plan spaces of the Dutch barns, with their stunning high ceilings, an adaptable lighting solution was essential.
We provided lighting plans and specifications for all 5 barns designed to show off their amazing double height, open plan spaces yet allowing the homeowners to create a cosy and intimate atmosphere when they want to. We also assisted with the supply of some of the architectural and decorative lighting to Cadeby as lighting to suit the scale and heights of some of the spaces weren’t just “off the shelf” solutions.
We are delighted that we were part of such a beautiful and fast selling development.
