Our living rooms are one of the main areas of the home that we can use to express our personalities - a place to display the things that are special to us. Like so many rooms in our homes, they are often multi-purpose. They can be a place to sit with friends and family to relax perhaps with a book and/or a glass of something nice, a place for the kids to play within sight of Mum and Dad, for everyone to gather together to watch TV or DVDs or have fun with a games console. 

 

If any room needs mood lighting, it's the main living room in our homes - there is a huge difference in the type of lighting required for jumping around in front of a games console to chilling out on a Friday evening.
