About Us

Flexible Approach to Lighting Design

Sam Coles Lighting work with both private and commercial clients to design and deliver lighting design projects and schemes.

With our private clients we provide a personal lighting design service, working hard to understand your brief including detailed discussions around your lighting design ideas and requirements. We then respond with a comprehensive proposal before commencing the work.

We also work with a wide range of commercial clients, either representing ourselves within the wider project team or as part of the larger client team, to provide expert advice on lighting design for a larger building or refurbishment project. In so doing, we make a substantial and seamless contribution to the breadth and depth of expertise that our commercial clients can offer.

Much of our lighting design work has been undertaken in our own county of Bedfordshire, and in the neighbouring counties of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and in North London. Some of our further afield projects have been in Berkshire, Kent, Surrey, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Suffolk, North Yorkshire, the West Midlands, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and overseas in France, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Morocco.

However, these days you do not have to be geographically close to use to use our services. In many cases your project can be completely handled via telephone conversations, email and by post, but there's always a full on-site service available.
